Mechanic's Lien Foreclosure

If you are a contractor or material supplier who has not been paid for a job, the law permits you to assert a "mechanic's lien", which may allow you to foreclose on the property and have it sold at auction so you can be paid.

You have very little time to assert the mechanic's lien, 8 months from the last date that you supplied labor or materials at the job site for commercial jobs, or 4 months for a residential single-family home. Don't delay!

Our attorneys have experience drafting, serving, filing, foreclosing and defending against mechanic's liens.
